Lambayeque Culture

The Lambayeque culture also known as Sican, it existed during the years of 800 to 1100 after Christ, and originated after its separation from the Mochica political control as a consequence of political and social upheaval. They had an important metallurgical development, building great truncated pyramids with stepped platforms and a network of irrigation channels in between valleys.
