Mochica Culture

The Mochica Culture was best known and admired culture of ancient Peru. It was developed during the early stages of our era, around the arrival of Christ and lasted until about 600 years after Christ. It was located around coastal areas of Peru. They worked on vast irrigation projects for the areas habited by them. There were findings of artifacts that associated this culture with the worship of the Moon and the Sun.
